I am not going to lie, this one hit different. South Mountain Auto Detail was voted Best Car Wash and Best Cleaning Service in the Best of Ahwatukee awards. Two categories, one vote at a time, all from real people in our community. That means more to me than any advertising campaign or marketing strategy ever could.
When I founded this business in Ahwatukee, the goal was simple: build something that actually cared. Not a franchise with a corporate playbook. Not a drive-through tunnel wash that treats every car the same. I wanted to build a detailing company where every vehicle gets the attention it deserves, where customers know us by name, and where the work speaks for itself.
From Parking Lots to Four Mobile Units
The early days were humble. I was detailing cars in parking lots, hauling my equipment in the back of my truck, working seven days a week to build a reputation one vehicle at a time. There were no shortcuts. Every single customer was an opportunity to prove that we were different.
Fast forward to today, and we have grown into a full operation with mobile units serving the entire East Valley plus our shop at 6505 W Frye Rd, Unit 18, Chandler, AZ 85226. We serve Chandler, Ahwatukee, Tempe, Mesa, Phoenix, and Gilbert. We handle everything from daily drivers to luxury vehicles, fleet trucks to classic cars.
